Teaching Philosophy

Music has been a lifelong passion of mine, and it is a joy to share it with others, whether through performing, teaching, or collaborating. I believe the most important aspect of piano lessons is to learn to enjoy and appreciate music, while learning valuable life skills such as discipline, patience, dedication, and critical thinking skills. One of my main goals as a teacher is to also teach students the tools they need to express themselves and their individuality. Whether music becomes their life as a professional or just as a hobby, studying the piano will develop their critical thinking skills, creativity, and can also be fun. It will create a lifelong appreciation for music. 

Creating small goals for the student is also important in their learning process. I will help the student work towards a solid technique as well as the ability to think critically on their own and develop a musical voice. I strive to inspire my students, as my teachers have done for me in the past, and encourage them to attend live concerts if they can. Inspiration is the best motivation. 

Location

My studio is located in Hollywood, Los Angeles. I have a 6 ft Steinway grand piano for students to use during lessons.

Parking is easy to find and free for 2 hours.

Lessons

Lessons are one-on-one and vary in length from 30, 45, 60, and 90 min.
